Facilities

The college has playground of 400 M standard track with raising border (curb) eight lanes in which we conduct inter-college tournaments , athletic meet, various throwing and jumping events such as shot put, high jump, long jump, triple jump, discus throw, javelin throw, pole vault and hammer throw

Accommodation

The College has separate hostel facility for both boys and girls. Two boys hostels within the campus to accommodate outstation students are available. The students accommodation desk will facilitate your hostel admission process during admissions. Please fill in the application form during admission for the hostel reservations.


General Hostel Rules and Regulations
  • Attendance will be taken every day in the morning and evening
  • Inmates indulging in ragging, bullying or any violent activities in the hostel premises will strictly be expelled from the hostel and college immediately
  • Inmates are directed not to litter garbage in inappropriate areas
  • Inmates consuming alcohol, smoking or using drugs inside the hostel premises will be expelled from the hostel and college immediately
  • Inmates jumping the hostel compound walls , if found by the warden/security they will be expelled from the hostel
  • The warden and other authorities of the college has every right to check the rooms and belongings of the inmates periodically
  • Sticking or nailing of pictures, hand writing on the walls, windows ,doors, spoiling and defacing the painting of the walls are strictly prohibited
  • Expensive things like money, jewels etc., should not be kept in the rooms
  • Students who wish to go outside during weekdays will have to get the out pass signed by the warden and hand over in the main gate
  • Students who go for outing on week days will have to return to hostel at 7.00 PM without fail, students returning late without prior permission will be taken strict action
  • Inmates are allowed to go home in weekends; however, they need to get prior permission from the warden and report back to the hostel before 9.00 PM on the respective sundays
  • Visitors are allowed between 9.00 AM to 2.00 PM on weekends only
  • Bringing outside food to the hostel room is strictly prohibited
  • Guests are not allowed to stay in the hostel
  • Students are responsible for the maintenance of the their respective rooms, common areas and rest rooms
  • Students are asked to keep the rooms and hostel CLEAN and TIDY

  • We have spacious canteen facility, a variety of South Indian and North Indian foods, snacks are provided to the students and staffs
  • Our canteen have family atmosphere with homemade flavor, cooked to perfection and served with great courtesy.
  • Refreshments are available with affordable rate, canteen can conveniently accommodate 150 students

We have an excellent 400 m modern track and multipurpose gym. Sports is regularly encouraged in our college, with participation in division and state level tournaments.

The Institution has Reverse Osmosis Plant to afford pure drinking water for our college premises and hostel. The entire college campus is facilitated with pure Reverse Osmosis (RO) drinking water in each floor to provide the need of pure and safe drinking water. Proper maintenance and regular testing were done to ensure the quality of the water. Around 5 RO is available in all sides.

We have Surveillance Camera throughout the college in all the laboratories, Veranda and Office room. Camera is maintained for the safety purpose of students by all the means Safety of the students is considered as the major role in our institution

Digitalization is important factor for growth of every institute and students, so computer lab in every education institution is must. We have 275 computers, connected to an internet lease line to facilitate high speed internet access with best Wi-Fi facility and we have around 8 Projectors,12 Printers. Students can use the computer labs for education purposes and accessing academic information. The computers are well designed and of the latest technology. The College has a fleet of new buses as to cater the transportation needs of students and staff. They are servicing from prominent places all over the city to the college. The transportation wing of Mother Terasa always aims for safety of the students and staff and hence experienced set of drivers are employed to do this service.

The library department of MTPC functions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm during all working days. Salient features include digital library, Browsing Internet for educational purposes, OPAC system and Online journals. Bar code systems is maintained during issue and return of books.

Library General Rules and Regulations
  • The Staff and Students should proceed bar-code entry when they enter the library
  • Usage of Mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the library
  • Personal belongings should be kept in a separate rack in the library during the entry
  • The library will function from 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
  • Inmates jumping the hostel compound walls , if found by the warden/security they will be expelled from the hostel Library Transaction time: 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
  • The library will be closed on all sundays and other government holidays.
  • Library books are not allowed to taken outside without proper entry and reservation
  • Misusing of the library resources leads to severe disciplinary action
  • No dues should be obtained from the library at the end of every academic Semester to ensure that books are returned properly
  • Usage of desktops in the library for browsing should have proper permission from the librarian
  • Users are requested to handle the books properly and make utilize the resource in a well disciplined manner
