The institute has a well equipped library which is fully computerized and contains large volumes of text books, reference books, journals and magazines etc., There are 15,000 volumes of books in the library and Librarian is in – charge of it.
To keep up with the pace of the technology new Digital Library is in Operation to revolve around the needs in the digital format
The library will be kept open on all working days 9.00a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
All students and members of teaching and non- teaching staff are members of the library
A students requiring a book should fill up a library card slip, get it signed by the H.O.D. concerned and submit it to the librarian
Students borrowing books from library should check up whether any page is missing or damaged. If so, the fact should be brought to the notice of the Librarian
If books are returned to the library after due date a fine of one rupee per day shall be collected
Books due on a holiday can be return without fine on the next working day.

The college has playground of 400 M standard track with raising border (curb) eight lanes in which we conduct inter-college tournaments , athletic meet, various throwing and jumping events such as shot put, high jump, long jump, triple jump, discus throw, javelin throw, pole vault and hammer throw

The college has a fleet of new bus to cater the transportation needs of students and staffs. They are servicing from prominent places all over the city to and from college. The transportation wing of Sankara always aims for safety of the students and staffs and hence experienced set of drivers are employed to do this service. In addition to the government transport services the institution provides special buses from all around Trichy, pudukkottai city to our Polytechnic.
